About the National coordinating center for international business cooperation
The National Coordinating center for international business cooperation was established in 2014 by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs together with interested Russian companies, business associations and the authorities in the format of a non-profit partnership.
The decision to establish the NCC was based on Clause 5 of the Protocol of a meeting On the Development of Russia’s Cooperation with Asia-Pacific Countries (No. DM-P2-38pr, dated May 12, 2014), chaired by the Russian prime minister, and a resolution of the RSPP Board Bureau (No. Bp-2/9, dated June 18, 2014).
Before 2023, the organization was called the National Coordination Center for the Development of Economic Relations with Asia Pacific Countries. It was renamed and designated as an autonomous non-profit organization on October 16, 2023.
The NCC co-founders include the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the all-Russian public organization Business Russia, the All-Russian Non-Governmental Organization of Small and Medium Business “OPORA RUSSIA”, the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) Institute of China and Contemporary Asia, AEON Corporation, Renova Group, and RZD Holding.
Kirill Babayev, director of the RAS Institute of China and Contemporary Asia, was elected NCC President.
The NCC mission is to assist businesses seeking to enter and gain a foothold on Asian markets through practical, expert and analytical support and facilitation of the establishment of partnerships, business and trade relations, and interaction between the authorities of Russia and Asian countries.
The National coordinating center of international business cooperation has concluded a number of economic cooperation agreements with representatives of China, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Turkey, Spain, and North African countries (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya).
